Meet our Founders:
James and Kanada Fortune
James and Kanada Fortune are the apostolic founders and visionary leaders of Oasis Church, a ministry dedicated to seeing heaven invade earth through the power of the Word and Spirit of God. Driven by a vision received by James in 2003, they established Oasis Church in 2006 to be a place where people encounter God, resulting in true life transformation.
With a legacy of ministry spanning over three decades—beginning with James’s call to preach in 1992 — the Fortunes are known for cultivating an atmosphere where the presence of God is tangible, miracles are common, and the Word of God is taught with clarity and power.
James and Kanada have been married since 1995 and are the proud parents of three adult children, two of whom help lead the charge at Oasis. Their life’s work is centered on the vision of Oasis Church:

Israel Campos
Worship Pastor
At the age of 30, Israel had a life-changing call from God—to pick up his guitar and worship—and never put it down again. That moment marked the beginning of a transformative journey shaped by humility, perseverance, and a deep pursuit of God's heart through music.
Israel’s calling has led him into a life of intimate communion with Jesus and a mission to empower others to do the same. As the worship pastor at Oasis Church, he leads a passionate and Spirit-filled team of worshipers devoted to ministering to the Lord and guiding others into powerful encounters with His presence. (Rooted in the biblical blueprint for worship, Israel’s ministry embraces the full expression of praise found in Scripture-–from joyful celebration to reverent surrender.) Israel’s vision is clear—to ignite, equip, and empower worshipers who release Heaven on earth through music. Every note, lyric, and moment of worship is for one purpose—to glorify the One who is worthy of it all. Israel is married to Geysaly and together and separately they serve in a variety of roles at Oasis. Their most important ministry is to their three boys: Levi, Will, and Judah.
Shannon Brinkley
Overseer of Prophetic Ministry
Shannon came to know Jesus over 30 years ago. He has been involved in church leadership for over 20 years with various churches. His passion is helping people to hear God for themselves, so that they may experience Him, know their true identity, and become all that God has created them to be. Shannon has been married to his beautiful bride, Connie, since 1995.
